The old man tried to speak, but she cut him off. Without hesitation, she picked up a bucket of water, walked toward him, and poured it over his head in front of everyone.
The room fell instantly silent.
Employees stared in shock. No one stepped in. Some were frozen, others simply couldn’t believe what they were witnessing.
As if nothing unusual had happened, the manager turned to the staff and said:
— Learn to distinguish who is a client and who is not.

She acted this way for one reason — to assert dominance, to prove she was strict, unyielding, and “disciplined.”
The elderly man, now drenched, paused briefly. There was no anger or fear in his expression. Only quiet dignity.
Without saying a word, he turned and slowly walked out.
The next morning, the staff returned, still whispering about what had happened. The atmosphere was tense. Then suddenly, at the most unexpected moment, the door swung open.
The same elderly man walked in… but this time — dressed completely differently. And when people realized who he truly was, everyone from the manager to the last employee was left stunned.
The truth was simple.
This “poor” old man was the actual owner of the office.
He calmly looked around the room before fixing his gaze on the manager.
— Yesterday, I deliberately came in like that, — he said in a calm but firm voice. — I wanted to see how you treat people. Not the wealthy… but those who truly need help.
The manager’s face drained of color.
He stepped forward slowly.
— You failed the test, — he continued. — You revealed your true character.
Then he turned to the rest of the staff.
— And you… you chose to stay silent.
No one dared to respond.
Finally, he looked back at the manager.
