2. A Journey Written on the Body and Soul
Sitting in my wheelchair, I reflect on the journey that brought me here. This chair has been both a source of comfort and a reminder of my limitations. It represents safety, but also the challenges I face every day.
Every detail around me tells part of my story. The patchwork blanket, lovingly made by my grandmother, feels like a warm embrace—each piece stitched with care and affection. The marks on my body are not signs of weakness, but reminders of the battles I have faced and overcome. They represent resilience, patience, and survival.
There is no shame in my reality. Instead, there is honesty. I have learned to accept every part of my journey, even the difficult moments, as they have shaped who I am today.
