Then he took off his coat.
Underneath, he was dressed in a clean, formal suit. A name badge was pinned to his chest.
His name was James Harrison.
He explained that he was the owner of the diner and had been quietly observing how things were run. He wanted to see how people were treated when no one thought it mattered.
