Ingredients

For the salmon

  • 2 salmon fillets (≈180–200 g / 6–7 oz each, skin-on)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 tbsp butter (14 g)
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For the shrimp

  • 200 g (7 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp butter (14 g)
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (3 g)
  • Squeeze of lemon juice (~1 tsp / 5 ml)

For the Cajun cream sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter (14 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (6 g)
  • 250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (≈5 g), for garnish

For the mashed potatoes

  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks (~600 g)
  • 3 tbsp butter (42 g)
  • 80 ml (⅓ cup) warm milk or cream
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
