Directions

  1. Prep the shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat the pan: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil until shimmering.
  3. Cook the garlic: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30–60 seconds, just until fragrant—don’t let it burn.
  4. Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and slightly golden around the edges.
  5. Add lemon and finish: Squeeze in lemon juice, toss the shrimp in the garlic-butter sauce, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
