Directions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cook the garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Make the creamy base: Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese, whisking until smooth. Add Parmesan, paprika, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Let the sauce thicken slightly for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Assemble the bake: Place shrimp in a lightly greased baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the shrimp, then sprinkle mozzarella evenly on top.
  5. Bake: Cook for 12–15 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Finish: Garnish with chopped parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
