Creamy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Directions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:
    Season shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
    In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
    Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
    Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and optional Italian seasoning.
  4. Combine & Serve:
    Add cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until evenly coated.
    Place shrimp on top of the pasta.
    Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a fresh, citrusy finish.
