- A bucket of hot water
- Approximately 120 ml of white vinegar
- A capful of scented fabric softener (preferably with a mild scent)
Preparation :
- Pour the hot water into the bucket, add the white vinegar, then the fabric softener.
- Mix briefly to distribute the ingredients evenly, and your solution is ready to use.
No need to add more: with this type of trick, the right dose is more than enough.
The right method for a truly shiny floor
- Dip your mop in the mixture, wring it out carefully to avoid excess water, then clean the floor as usual.
- Work in sections and avoid going over the same area multiple times. As it dries, the surface will gradually reveal a cleaner, brighter appearance, without streaks or a sticky feeling.
Bonus: For tougher stains or heavily soiled tile grout, mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of warm water to form a thick paste. Apply it to the affected areas, gently scrub with a soft brush or an old toothbrush, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and then apply your vinegar-fabric softener solution to finish cleaning.
