Directions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk for 30 minutes. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken in the seasoned flour.
  2. Fry the Chicken
    Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F). Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and fully cooked, about 10–12 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Cook the Spaghetti
    Boil spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Make the Sauce
    In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, banana ketchup, sugar, and hotdogs. Simmer for 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce
    Mix cooked spaghetti with the sauce until evenly coated. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
  6. Serve
    Plate the crispy fried chicken alongside the sweet spaghetti for an authentic Jollibee-style meal.
