As Daniel prepared to leave, someone called his name.
It was Felicia Ademy, a former schoolmate. Unlike the others, she approached him with concern rather than judgment. She asked what had happened, and Daniel simply replied that his business had failed.
Felicia did not question him harshly or turn away. Instead, she spoke with sincerity and empathy. She even admitted that she had admired him back in school.
When Daniel asked if she still respected him in his current situation, her answer was simple: yes.
She didn’t measure his worth by his appearance or circumstances.
Seeing that he was struggling, Felicia offered something unexpected—help. She invited him to her home, insisting he should not remain in such conditions. Her apartment was modest but clean and welcoming, filled with warmth rather than luxury.
She provided him with fresh clothes and even offered her personal savings to support their future together. Her actions were not driven by expectation or reward, but by genuine care.
Daniel was deeply moved.
For the first time during his test, he encountered someone who showed kindness without hesitation, even when she believed he had nothing.
Privately, Daniel made preparations. Without revealing his identity, he arranged significant gifts and plans for the future. But his decision to move forward with Felicia was not based on gratitude alone—it was based on the sincerity of her character.
To him, she represented something rare.
