Directions

  1. Prep the fries: Toss potato fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 220°C (425°F) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  2. Prepare chicken: Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Dip in buttermilk, then dredge in flour until coated.
  3. Fry chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 175°C (350°F). Fry chicken pieces in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Assemble sliders: Spread mayonnaise on slider buns. Top with crispy chicken, shredded lettuce, and pickles if using. Close buns and set aside.
  5. Load the fries: Place baked fries on a serving platter. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the top. Melt cheese under the broiler for 1–2 minutes if desired.
  6. Finish: Drizzle sour cream and sprinkle chopped green onions over the loaded fries. Serve alongside the sliders.
