Ingredients

For the seafood

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 300 g / 10 oz total), skin removed and cut into chunks
  • 200 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined (7 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (15 g)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Alfredo sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter (30 g)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (9 g)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese (75 g / 2.5 oz)
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (1 g)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional) (5 ml)

For the pasta

  • 250 g fettuccine or linguine (9 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (4 g), for garnish
  • Extra Parmesan cheese, for topping
