Ingredients
For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (2 g)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (2 g)
- ½ tsp onion powder (1 g)
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz / 170 g each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (2 g)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (2 g)
- ½ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Grits:
- 1 cup (160 g) stone-ground grits
- 4 cups (960 ml) water or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter (14 g)
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (60 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt & pepper, to taste
