Instructions
- Pour the water into a small saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.

- Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the drink into a mug using a fine mesh sieve.
- Add the lemon juice and stir well to brighten the flavor.
- Mix in honey if desired, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add a pinch of black pepper and optional cinnamon for extra warmth and depth.
- Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
