Strip Steak, Hashbrowns & Fried Eggs

Directions

  1. Prepare the hashbrowns: Squeeze excess water from grated potatoes using a clean towel.
  2. Cook the hashbrowns: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Spread the potatoes evenly and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Season the steak: Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook the steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, then add butter and baste for extra flavor. Let rest 3 minutes before slicing.
  5. Fry the eggs: Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Crack eggs and fry to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Assemble the plate: Serve the strip steak alongside crispy hashbrowns and fried eggs.
