Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles or spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the cubed sirloin steak with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak cubes for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and juicy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and cook the shrimp for about 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Lower the heat to medium and add 4 tablespoons of butter to the same pan. Once melted, sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss gently until they’re fully coated in the garlicky sauce.
- Return the shrimp and steak to the skillet and mix everything together until heated through and well combined.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh herbs before serving warm.
