After she left, I found my father in the kitchen, quietly going about his routine. There was a heaviness in the air, but also something stronger—years of shared memories that couldn’t be undone by a single moment.

Through it all, one lesson stayed with me:

Love isn’t defined by where it begins.
It’s defined by who stays, who supports, and who chooses you—again and again.
