Part 2: Turning Memories into Meaning
Over the following weeks, Mason dedicated himself fully to his project. Our home slowly filled with fabric pieces, thread, and carefully stitched creations.
Then one evening, he showed me the result.
He had made twenty teddy bears—each one unique, each one crafted from his father’s clothing.

He began to see that his skills could help others—not just as a way to cope, but as a way to contribute. He even expressed interest in teaching other children how to sew, helping them create something of their own.
For the first time since our loss, I saw a new kind of hope in him.
