2. Years Later: An Unexpected Meeting
Twenty years later, Claire had built a successful career. She worked at a regional community bank and had earned a leadership position after years of dedication and effort.
The quiet student who once sat in the back row had become a confident professional responsible for important financial decisions.

He felt ashamed of the past and apologized sincerely. More than anything, he asked Claire not to let his past mistake affect the chance to save his daughter’s life.
Claire listened carefully and took time to think about the situation.
