On a rainy evening, a black SUV stopped outside a small neighborhood market. The street was quiet, with only the sound of rain falling gently.

As the driver stepped out, preparing to make a phone call, a small voice interrupted him.

“Sir… would you buy my bike?”

He turned and saw a young girl holding an old pink bicycle. It was worn, with a rusty chain and taped handle, but she held it carefully as if it meant everything to her.

She looked tired, her clothes thin for the weather, yet her eyes showed determination.

“Why are you selling it?” he asked.

The girl hesitated before answering softly, “My mom hasn’t eaten in days. I want to help her.”

Her words were simple, but powerful.

She wasn’t asking for charity—she was offering what little she had.

The man paused. People often avoided situations like this, but something about her honesty made him listen.

“Where is your mother?” he asked.

“At home… she’s not feeling well,” the girl replied.

Without hesitation, he opened the car door.

“Let me take you home,” he said.
