Ingredients
For the Pasta:
- 250 g (8.8 oz) fettuccine or linguine pasta
For the Seafood:
- 250 g (8.8 oz) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 200 g (7 oz) lobster meat (tails or claws), chopped
- ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning (from the total, to season seafood)
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp olive oil (30 ml)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (28 g)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (120 ml) chicken or seafood broth
- ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
