Ingredients

For the shrimp

  • 500 g large shrimp, peeled & deveined (1 lb)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (6 g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional, 5 ml)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup flour (60 g)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko or regular breadcrumbs (60–70 g)
  • Oil for frying
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

For the tangy lime dip

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (45 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or sour cream (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (15 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon lime zest (1 g)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (5 ml)
  • Pinch of chili flakes or hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
