Directions
- Prepare the lobster tails:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) or prepare a grill for medium-high heat. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the shell lengthwise down the middle, stopping at the tail base. Gently lift the meat, keeping the tail attached, and rest it on top of the shell. - Make the garlic butter:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and aromatic. - Brush and cook the lobster tails:
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet (oven) or directly on the grill. Brush generously with garlic butter, reserving some for basting. - Bake or grill:
- Oven: Bake for 10–12 minutes, basting halfway through, until lobster meat is opaque and slightly golden.
- Grill: Grill for 8–10 minutes, turning once and basting as needed. Internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
- Serve:
Remove from heat and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
