- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and just cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure crispiness.
- If using batter, shake off excess before cooking. Cook the shrimp until the coating is golden and the shrimp is opaque inside.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle with chili flakes if desired and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
