The company was called Essential Consultants LLC. It had no employees, no office, and no real business. It existed for one purpose: to move money quietly and leave no fingerprints. Cohen opened it in Delaware, where the state asked for nothing about who actually owned it.
The money reached Stormy Daniels days before the 2016 election, buying her silence until the votes were counted.
That kind of secrecy is not a loophole.
