Directions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Toss in the asparagus and sauté for 3–5 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss with the asparagus and butter. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest if using.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and extra lemon wedges before serving.
