Directions
- Prepare the steak bites: Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add steak bites and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned and crusty. Add butter, crushed garlic, and rosemary or thyme; toss to coat. Remove and set aside to rest.
- Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, melt butter and olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp, season with Cajun seasoning or paprika, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and remove from the pan.
- Sear the scallops: Wipe the pan clean and heat olive oil until shimmering. Season scallops with salt and pepper. Sear for 1½–2 minutes per side until golden brown. Add butter and minced garlic; baste scallops briefly, then remove from heat.
- Make the garlic herb butter: In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped parsley until fragrant and smooth.
- Assemble the platter: Arrange steak bites, shrimp, and scallops beautifully on a plate. Drizzle the garlic herb butter over everything and sprinkle with extra chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately: Enjoy this decadent surf & turf trio with your favorite sides — creamy mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad work wonderfully.
