Marcelo had spent his entire life building success. His empire was strong, his reputation untouchable, and his routine precise. Yet behind the polished image, there was a quiet emptiness he never spoke about. He had wealth, influence, and control—but not the one thing he truly wished for: a family.
One ordinary afternoon, everything shifted.
While passing near an abandoned construction site, Marcelo noticed a small figure in the distance. A young girl, no older than six, stood protectively, holding a baby in her arms. Her posture was tense, her eyes alert—far too aware for someone her age. The baby in her arms looked weak and exhausted.
Marcelo approached carefully, speaking softly so he wouldn’t frighten her. The girl hesitated at first, clearly unsure whether to trust him. After a few moments, she revealed her name: Luna. The baby was her younger brother, Mateo.
Their situation was heartbreaking. They had been left alone, with no clear place to go and no one to depend on. Luna had been doing everything she could to care for her brother, despite her young age. Marcelo immediately understood that this was not something he could ignore.
