It started as a normal day, quiet and uneventful, until something felt off.
Noah, a two-month-old baby, suddenly became unusually fussy. In his grandmother’s arms, he cried more intensely than usual, his tiny face flushed with discomfort. Anyone who has cared for an infant knows that crying is normal — but this felt different.
As she gently checked on him, she noticed a small mark on his skin. It wasn’t something she had seen before, and it immediately raised concern.
Her heart began to race.
“What could be causing this?” she wondered.
Although it might have been nothing serious, the combination of persistent crying and the unfamiliar mark made her uneasy. Rather than waiting or second-guessing herself, she chose to act quickly.
She wrapped Noah carefully and decided to take him to the hospital, prioritizing caution and care above all else.
