They named them Eliana, Seraphina, and Micah.
Three newborns, wrapped gently in soft blankets, resting peacefully in a quiet hospital room filled with the faint scent of antiseptic and the promise of new beginnings.
Clara leaned her head against Ethan’s shoulder, her body tired but her heart overflowing with emotion. Just hours earlier, she had given birth to three children—three new lives, each one a miracle in its own way.
Ethan held her hand, offering comfort without words. In that moment, silence felt complete. They didn’t need to speak to understand what they were both feeling.
There was something different about their babies—something others had already started to notice. A nurse paused a little longer than usual. A visitor passing by the room glanced in with curiosity. Quiet whispers followed.
Their skin was very light, almost luminous. Their hair was soft and pale, and their eyelashes so light they were barely visible.
The doctor had explained it gently: albinism.
For some, the word might bring uncertainty or concern. But for Clara and Ethan, it changed nothing about what they felt.
Clara looked down at Eliana, the smallest of the three, watching her breathe softly.
“They’re perfect,” she whispered.
Ethan smiled, his gaze moving between Seraphina and Micah.
“Exactly as they’re meant to be.”
